“Lost and Found” is the theme for the annual EFTAG (Eurobodalla Fibre and Textile Artist Group) exhibition at the Mechanics Hall at Page Street Moruya.
Opening: Friday 1 December, 6pm
Exhibition: Daily Saturday 2 December to Sunday 10 December, 10am to 4pm

As usual patrons can be assured of a feast for the senses. EFTAG has now over 40 members from all along the south coast. Fibre and Textile artists from Milton to Tathra get together to show their creations. EFTAG’s eclectic and vibrant shows are now nothing short of legendary on the south coast art scene.
The materials and techniques used by artists are as varied as is their background. From feltings to sculptures to paper art and hand stitched Boro. EFTAG members dye with plants like indigo and eucalyptus use recycled materials from antique kimonos to old jeans and create unique works from sticks, beach pollutants and old wire.
Most EFTAG members have quite a reputation in the arts world for their vision and innovative approach to their work.
So come along and see for yourself what a little bit of daring and creating outside the box can create. You sure won’t be disappointed. The exhibition will be opened by Helen Maxwell who is known for her first commercial gallery, aGOG (Australian Girls Own Gallery) in Canberra. Helen is also a well known art curator and educator in modern art at the ANU.
All are welcome to join for nibbles and drinks at 6 pm on Friday night.
