The Moruya Golf Club and the Eurobodalla Live Music Club are presenting a huge music event on Friday, 29 September, Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October. The Gospel Service is an important part of this weekend. Check out the website: moruyagolfclub.com.au/jazzatmoruya
Come and help the musicians and singers raise the roof. The Service will be led by Kay Killick, and the Moruya Town Band will be playing gospel songs. Singing some inspirational songs are two choirs - Sing Australia and the Tuross Country Club Singers. To delight you further we have three soloists – Paul Marshall, Steve Johnston, and Jeff Westbrook.
The collection will be donated to the Moruya & District Hospital.
The Moruya Golf Club and Eurobodalla Live Music, Inc. are presenting a large and exciting music event on the long weekend of Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, and Sunday 1 October to be held at the Moruya Golf Club.
The Festival of Voice is an important part of this weekend.
This year marks the eighth time the Festival of Voice has been staged since the inaugural concert in 2009. The variety of the vocal acts has continued to delight the audience, and this year's line-up of acts will not disappoint.
Gloria Bell, the Festival of Voice Coordinator since its inception, says the different music and vocal styles are sure to please and entertain the audience. Performers consist of 4 local soloists, a duo from Tathra, a barbershop style Chorus from Canberra, and two local choirs.
The Festival of Voice is on Saturday 30 September and doors open at 12.30 pm in readiness for a prompt start at 1 pm. There is an interval at 3 pm and the concert will restart at 3.30 pm with the remaining four acts.
Tickets are $20 with free entry to children under the age of 16, and can be purchased either from the Moruya Golf Club or on the day.
