A story that ends happily for two dogs rescued from a mine shaft south of Moruya
Fire Station 384 Moruya were called to Animal Rescue. Two dogs had fallen into a old disused mineshaft in bushland along Dwyers Creek Road. SES were called in for Vertical Rescue and set up a 2 rope lines for an SES member to descend and retrieve both dogs.
FRNSW crew and SES crew assisted with hauling the SES crew member and the dogs up with a haul line.
Fire Station 384 reports "it was great working with Moruya SES crew in bringing both dogs to safety."
