The Eagle Huntress - a review

The Eagle Huntress is a MUST SEE film that all should see and, I am sure, would enjoy.

We, in Eurobodalla live a charmed life in a wonderful place. Many of us have worked very hard during our lives and now take care of our own retirement. For others not so fortunate, there is considerable government and community assistance. Life is relatively easy, yet we hear constant complaints & grumbles - about all sorts of things.

This film tells a true story of determination and grit, despite hardships we cannot imagine.

It is shot in Mongolia and the scenery is truly breathtaking.

A young girl (13), with her father's and family's support defies generations of tradition to achieve her desire to train and hunt with her own eagle. The filming of the way of life, the community, the family, the season changes, the eagles and the young girl herself are quite wonderful.

For one & a half hours allow yourselves to be transported to another world and be inspired by 'The Eagle Huntress'.

Now showing at Narooma Kinema
