Sunday 12th February 2017 was a remarkable day of firsts at Four Winds!
It was the inaugural performance of the Windsong Series, the first official performance on the beautiful Shigeru Kawai semi concert grand piano – made possible by our amazing donors - and James Crabb’s first curated concert at Four Winds – James is our new Artistic Director.
A capacity audience enjoyed fabulous performances from pianist Piers Lane, Andrew Haveron, violinist and concert master of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and James Crabb, classical accordionist, in an epic program of Beethoven, Franck and Schubert.

We are fortunate to be in receipt of a Creative Partnerships Australia grant, which is a 'dollar-for-dollar' funding program. Our target is to raise $55,000 by mid-May 2017. Every dollar donated to Four Winds will be matched. We have launched a campaign called ‘Composing the Future with James Crabb’.
With your support James can develop the Four Winds program including:
1. Commissioning a new work for the 2018 Festival
2. An artist in residence in Bermagui who will bring fabulous music experiences to our young people
3. Creating a stellar line-up for the 2018 Windsong Series
Every dollar donated is matched ‘$ for $’ by Creative Partnerships and two generous donors who have enhanced the Creative Partnership grant, so your tax-deductible donation will be doubled.
