It’s taken a very long time but our Country’s Prime Minister has now clearly recognised the need to make changes to the way the nations politicians behave particularly in relation to spending other peoples money on a range of so called political jaunts or perhaps taxpayer funded rorts.
The easiest way to monitor and police Politicians and even Senior Public Servants expense claims would be to have them in the first instance pay themselves for travel and other costs taxis etc. collect receipts they can then submit to an audit committee for consideration and subsequent reimbursement, if the receipts provide genuine evidence the claimant was acting for the benefit of the national population with what they’d claimed for.
Politicians and Public Servants are employed by the nations population and taxpayers, not by political party’s for their benefit.
