Join the fight for human rights - Moruya Dec 12th

You are encouraged to come to St John's Hall, Anglican Church, Page Street, Moruya next Monday, Dec 12th, and write letters for the individuals at risk.
 

 

 
There will be petitions and standard form letters to sign for those who don’t have much time to sit and write.

Indigenous peoples of the Peace River in Canada, struggling to save their ancestral lands.
 

 
Ilham Tohti, a university professor in China, jailed for life for fighting discrimation.
 

 
Shawkan, a journalist in Egypt, jailed for doing his job.
 

 
Johan Teterissa, a teacher in Indonesia, tortured and jailed for waving a flag.
 

 
Annie Alfred, a child from Malawi, hunted for her body parts.
 

 
Maxima Acuria, a peasant farmer in northern Peru, attacked by police for speaking out.
 

 
Edward Snowden, a US whistle blower whose courage changed the world.
 

 

 
Joined by millions across the globe, the South Coast community can also put pen to paper and defend the Human Rights that have been denied them.
