Yet another one of EFTAG’s inspiring exhibition will be staged in Early December at the Mechanics hall in Page Street, Moruya. Members of this group are known for their innovative approach to the art/craft they practice.

EFTAG members works are always different, interesting and in some instances thought provoking. EFTAG artists work with a wide variety of media like paper, cloth, wool, leather, plant fibre, found objects and anything that they can incorporate into their unique artworks.

As the title promises, this exhibition will explore the artist inner connection to their work and what it is that creates that connection for them. Often using natural materials that surround the artists and guide them through the artistic exploration they have chosen.

As a further take on the “Fibre of my Being” overall theme the exhibition will feature a group exhibit titled “Wrapped and Bound”.

Works of EFTAG members will be displayed in a special group piece that again explores the limits within that very personal internal boundary.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Julia Ratth a renowned Melbourne based textile teacher and artist. Julia is a professor at RMIT University where she lectures in design and textiles.

Most works are for sale and everyone is welcome to the opening.
