Road works north of the Shire - Nov 21st to Dec 9th

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS ON PRINCES HIGHWAY AT JERRAWONGALA - Sussex Inlet area

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Jerrawongala next week for essential maintenance work to improve safety.

The NSW Government has allocated $600,000 to improve the road surface for around 750 metres, from around one kilometre south of Sussex Inlet Road.

Work will be carried out on weekdays between 7am and 5pm from Monday 21 November to Friday 9 December, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists, two lanes on the Princes Highway will be closed for the duration of work, with one lane open and temporary traffic lights in use to allow motorists to travel through the site safely.

A temporary reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place during work hours.

One extra lane will be open on the weekend allowing motorists to travel in both directions, with a reduced speed limit of 60 km/h in place.
